Volks can be good at the start but when the allies start rolling in the MGs and Penals, they just start decimating the Volks while sturms even though are very OP and can go toe to toe with some of the most powerful allied infantry units, they are expensive as hell to reinforce and losing them probably is a huge blow. The jagd completely owned the 2 shermans without them even dealing more than 25% damage and the infantry died in a wall of rocket fire.Originally posted by Tartzmir:i love OKW cause of the 5 vet and powerful doctrinals as well as cmdr abilities but OKW has such a weak early game. I have singlehandedly taken out 2 sherman tanks and 4 infantry units with 1 jagdtiger and 1 barrage from 2 rocket half-tracks. This tactic is usually sound at early game and as soon as you field the first tank which I think is hte Jagdtiger you can be sure you have probably won. Out of the very few times ive played as the OKW ive had no issues whatsoever in getting a radar half track or two and using artillery to blow the crap out of the enemy guarded by sturmpioneers. Their worst tanks are arguably better than anything the Allies can field without using a commander so you don't really need any more help in getting them. The reason why they can't build on flags is also to do with the small elite regiment rather than the huge zerg feel the faction has. There is a reason why OKW have 5 star vet capacity whereas everyone else has 3. If only people actually realised this instead of trying to spam everything all the time. IF the OKW is too weak, then Relic shouldnt change its design but introduce balance-changes which take this design into consideration It is a small elite force, that is how the OKW is supposed to be, if you dont like this design choice then the OKW simply isnt your faction. The OKW is designed around less income = more expensive vehicles which at the same time are extremely strong.
